This Year's Winner:

The newly renamed ―Jeanne's Happy Heart Award was presented to a woman who was so appreciative of the $2000 check- Treva Woody. It is given in memory of Jeanne Schneiter Adovnik, a Soroptimist for many years and mother to member Jan Crane and sister to Marilyn Tang. Born on the Navajo Reservation, and the single mother of seven children, including one special needs child, Treva is interested in working in the nursing and special education fields. She currently attends Salt Lake Community College, where she also works in the AmeriCorps VISTA program and volunteers with her local food co-op.

Jeanne's Happy Heart Award Committee Leader is Marilyn Tang
