Soroptimist International of Salt Lake is 82 years old this year!

Soroptimist is an international volunteer service and the world's largest classified organization for business and professional women that works to support our mission: "improve the lives of women and girls in the local communities and throughout the world."

About 95,000 Soroptimists in more than 124 countries and territories contribute their time and financial support to community-based projects benefiting women and girls.

The name Soroptimist is formed from the two Latin words "soror" and "optima" interpreted as the Best for Women.

Soroptimist International is delighted to launch
'Educate to Lead - A Fairy Tale Story'.

Launched at the Soroptimist International of Great Britain and Ireland conference in Brighton last week, the film is designed to raise awareness of the SI global focus, education and leadership, and provide the perfect tool to introduce the issue to clubs and partners around the world.
