of Salt Lake is 77 years old this year!
Soroptimist
is an international volunteer service and the world's
largest classified organization for business and
professional women that works to support our mission:
"improve the lives of women and girls in the local
communities and throughout the world."
About 95,000 Soroptimists in more than 124
countries and territories contribute their time and
financial support to community-based projects
benefiting women and girls.
~ Women at their best helping other women to be
their best ~
The name Soroptimist is
formed from the two Latin words "soror" and "optima"
interpreted as the Best for Women.
